Martine Verplancke studied law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with an exchange at the Université de Fribourg in Switzerland.
After her studies she worked for 10 years as a lawyer at an office specializing in corporate law. In the meantime, Martine obtained two master-after-masters in corporate law and in business law (cum laude). In the meantime, the postgraduate degree 'Trustee and liquidator' and the recognition 'Mediator in civil and commercial matters' were also achieved.
Martine then worked for two years as legal policy adviser for Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg. There she advised the general management and she was a lawyer for the Clinical Trial Unit and the Future Health Department.
Captivated by the health law in the broader sense and the advocacy she is again, since the end of August 2019, a lawyer at the Leuven bar and connected to the office Dewallens & Partners.
