Julie Vermeulen studied law at the KU Leuven and the Université Paris Descartes (cum laude, 2016). After her studies Julie obtained the “Certificate in Cyberlaw” at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and worked as a pro bono lawyer in Ghana.
In October 2016, she was called to the Leuven Bar. She combined her first year as a lawyer with the “Postgraduate degree in Health Law and Medical Ethics” at the UAntwerpen (cum laude, 2017) and followed with success the “Special Training in Cassation Proceedings”. Julie is a member of the editorial board of the Nieuw Notarieel Kwartaalschrift (journal for notary law).
Since 2017, Julie is a teacher at the EHSAL Management School where she lectures in the postgraduate program on ‘Healthcare and welfare management’.
In August 2017, Julie joined our law firm.
