Elise Degroote studied law at the KU Leuven (cum laude) and in 2016 she received the postgraduate degree in Health Law and Medical Ethics (“Postgraduaat Gezondheidsrecht en Gezondheidsethiek”) (Ahlec) at the UAntwerpen (magna cum laude).
From 1995 to 2003, she was attached at the Institute for Contract Law of the faculty of Law at the KU Leuven.
From 2003 to 2008, Elise worked as a staff member at the research department of the Orde van Vlaamse Balies.
From 2008 to 2016 she worked as company lawyer for a federal association of independent community pharmacists, where she concentrated on the regulation of pharmacies and the profession of pharmacist (repartition of pharmacies, exercise of the profession and responsibility, …).
Since June 2016, Elise is called to the Bar of Leuven and has joined Dewallens & partners.
