Filip Van Der Mauten studied law at the KU Leuven (2004). Afterwards he enrolled at the Brussels Bar where he worked as a lawyer in health law. In 2012 he moved to the Leuven Bar where he was active in administrative law until 2015. At the UAntwerpen he obtained a postgraduate master degree in business law in 2012. Since April 2015 Filip is connected to our law firm.
Filip is mainly active in administrative health law and provides advice and acts in legal proceedings on behalf of all parties within the healthcare sector. He has built a special expertise in public procurement law for care facilities.
Filip is co-author of “Geannoteerd Wetboek Medisch Recht” (UGA, 2010) and the book “Woonzorgcentra overzicht van wetgeving” (Story Publishers, 2013). He also published documents about cross-border purchases of medical devices and about public contracts in healthcare. Filip is president of the visa office of Mdeon.
